Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

These Terms of Service govern your purchase and use of snow removal services from Subzero Snow("we", "us"). By purchasing a season pass or using our website, you agree to these terms.

Our services

Our season pass provides residential snow removal for the winter season, which runs from November 15th to April 15th. We dispatch automatically once snowfall reaches approximately 5cm (2 inches) of accumulation. The pass includes driveway and walkway clearing, cleanup of the windrow left by city plows, driveway markers, and text and email service alerts.

Service area

We serve throughout the Town of Georgina, Ontario — including Keswick, Sutton West, Jackson's Point, Pefferlaw and Virginia. If your property falls outside our service area, we will confirm whether we can reach you before taking payment.

Pricing and payment

The price of your season pass depends on your driveway size and is shown before you confirm your order. We accept payment by credit or debit card (processed by Stripe), cheque, or e-Transfer.

For card payments, we place an authorization on your card at checkout but do not charge it immediately. We confirm your driveway size in person before the season begins, and only then capture payment. If your driveway differs from what was ordered, we will contact you to adjust your order before charging.

Refunds

We stand behind our work. If you are not satisfied after our first visit of the season, contact us and we will provide a full refund. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

Referral and promo codes

Discounts from a valid referral code or promotional code are applied to your order total at checkout. A referral discount and a promo code cannot be combined on the same order. Codes have no cash value and may be withdrawn at any time.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate contact and property information, including driveway size
  • Keep vehicles parked as close to the house as possible during the season
  • Ensure we have safe, reasonable access to your driveway

Service limitations

Timing of service depends on the severity and timing of each storm; during major snow events, service may be delayed. For gravel driveways, we typically wait until the ground is frozen before servicing, and we will clean up any gravel displaced onto your lawn. We are not responsible for delays or non-performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, equipment failure, or impassable roads.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for your season pass. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent version.
